There won't be a lecture with this lesson. We've already talked about imagery a little in the short story, and it's not a difficult concept. If you recall, imagery is the use of appeals to the senses, whether to our sense of smell, touch, hearing, taste, or, most commonly, vision. Imagery is very important in many, many, poems. So, as always, ask yourself, "What images does the poet use? Why those partiucular images? What do they do for the poem?"
